Definition of a Corporate Social Responsibility Policy
Based on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), in 2022, the HM Consultants Group defined its Corporate Social Responsibility Policy on two pillars:
- Goal 04 – Quality Education
- Goal 11 – Sustainable Cities and Communities
Since then, we have acted in accordance with our mission, specifically by awarding a scholarship to the best student in the Master’s in Competitiveness and Business Development at ISCA-UA, conducting volunteer actions in partnership with Casa Vera Cruz, and donating a painting by the renowned painter from Aveiro, Mário Morais, at a Red Cross charity dinner.
Continuation of the Mission
In 2023, amidst applications for Portugal 2030 and other services from HM Consultants, we remained focused on continuing this contemporary mission. We established new partnerships with companies in the Aveiro region, continued awarding the scholarship, and once again joined forces with Casa Vera Cruz through a new solidarity action.
Solidarity Action | Casa Vera Cruz
While in 2022 we directed our volunteer efforts towards the rehabilitation of the wall and exterior railing of Casa Abrigo, a social service of Casa Vera Cruz that shelters victims of domestic violence, this year we focused our efforts on the Casa Vera Cruz Headquarters. The action, which took place in October, involved painting part of the interiors of the Headquarters and washing the exterior wall. This work facilitated new interactions among employees while revitalizing the spaces.
At the end of the tasks, Paula Hipólito, General Director of Casa Vera Cruz, left us the following message:
“Sometimes all it takes is a little push to give a new atmosphere to workspaces. With the help of HM Consultants employees, it was possible to ‘refresh’ some spaces, helping to create healthier working conditions in brighter and more beautiful environments.
